People who are similar to you in age.
Peer pressure,
When peers emphasize you to do the same things they are doing.
Like smoke, Dance, long drive, and drink.
Example,
When one of your friend is dancing and asks you to dance with him/her. When you refuse to dance, but he/she keeps on asking you to dance, again and again. Finally you agreed to dance with him/her in effort to fit in,this is called peer pressure.
Types,
Peer pressure can be,
1-Positive peer pressure,
Positive peer pressure is when your friend pressures you to study harder to secure good marks. And pressures you to part-time job to get extra money for big purchasing like cat flat.
2-Negative peer pressure,
Negative peer pressure is when one of your friends forces you to smoke with him/her, which you don't like and makes you unhappy. Or Pressuring someone to believe in religious or political stance, based on personal attacks.
3-Spoken peer pressure,
The most obvious type of peer pressure is spoken peer pressure. Spoken peer pressure involves a peer asking another peer to do the same thing they are doing.
4-Unspoken peer pressure
Unspoken peer pressure gives you an easy out from the situation without any verbal confrontation; however, it can be dangerous afterwards.
5-Direct peer pressure,
During this type of peer pressure, a person faces a situation in which he is directly facing a peer and must and focused to make a decision at the spot.
Example
As pressuring a person to drink Gin at the spot
6-Indirect peer pressure,
Indirect peer pressure is when a person’s personal thought is drastically impacted by the popular opinion of a larger, more highly regarded group.

How to deal with peer pressure,
Speak out,
Speak out against a peer who asks you to drink or buy a cigarette. First of all, take a breath for a while and let your brain think properly during the decision making process. Give yourself space that will help you to make the right choice in those uncomfortable situations.
