Early marriage

Early marriage is defined as. "Marriage of a girl or a boy before the age of 18" 

OR    

                               "Union between two people in which one or both parties are younger than 18 years of age"

 Frankly speaking, this topic is very close to me, not that I am victim of this practice actually i am blessed to be born in such a good family that's supportive to women in every aspect wether it is meant for their education or their lives . I'm the only girl not in my family but also in my village who has done Graduation and nearly masters.The only reason that I am against this practice that this crime happens in my village and many others . That is very painful for me and those who have been a victim of this practice . 

       " People have to understand that               child marriage is atually a child abuse" 

         I am against this this practice because for me this practice will be the end of childhood, happiness, most importantly "Education". Girls who marry before 18 are more likely to experience domestic violence and less likely to remain in school. They have worse economic and health outcomes than their unmarried peers, which are eventually passed down to their own children. Here i'll add a point that why those mothers who have been a victim of that practice never took a stand for their children. Unfortunately i had witnessed many of such cases in my own village.

            "   Let girls be a girls not brides"   

A successful marriage needs maturity and patience which we dont have in the early marriage. Mostly the girls become the victim of early marriage. This is because of poverty in villages. Early marriage is driven by poverty and gas many effects on the girls'death.

Serviceable cancer.

 Malaria.

    Studies have shown that couples who have had a first child are less satisfied with their marriages”. In many cases, child marriage is a driver of early pregnancy; she didn't know anything about pregnancy or childbirth, all she knew is that she was far too young to be having a baby. 

  

      It has been reported in a toplist News channel Named gNN that in Shikarpur 

 "A 10 YEARS OLD GIRL IS FORCED TO MARRY A 40 YEARS OLD MAN " 

 Unfortunately this is not a single case that is being practiced . There are many others who have not been reported. Child marriage robs girls childhood and threatens their life . From 2013, around 21% of the girls in Pakistan are married before the age of 18 the lowest rate among South Asian nation.

      " Child marriage is a marriage or rap" 

Sex with minors under the age of 18 is a statutory crime under Section 376 of Indian Penal Code. However in Pakistan Whoever, being a male above eighteen years of age, contracts child marriage shall be punishable with simple imprisonment which may extend to one month, or with fine which may extend to one thousand rupees, or with both. But there's no implications especially in the rular areas,Sometimes in cities also. for me it is also a crime became Child marriage violates children's rights and places them at high risk of violence, exploitation, and abuse. ... It can be defined as That child marriage is not a marriage but it is a child abuse. 

 Child marriage is also a form of violence too often ignored. Some of the most heart-breaking stories that I have heard from child brides who describe the emotional and physical violence they have faced from their husbands. Many of these child brides feel like they are just there to fetch water, cook and clean, and produce children. These are the realities of child marriage.From now i am starting a campaign through my blogs and Articles to end the crime (child marriage is). I know that this will not be so effective but there is a hope in my heart that those who are reading this blog will be able to understand the pain and realty that the child brides suffer during their lives. Because child marriage can be a precursor to a death sentence: child brides often become pregnant at a young age, long before they are ready physically or emotionally, and this can have devastating consequences. In fact, complications during pregnancy and child birth is the second most common cause of death for 15-19 year olds globally.

MATERNAL MORTALITY IN RULAR AREAS OF PAKISTAN

 Pakistan is one of the countries in South Asia ranking high in maternal mortality rate. The maternal mortality ratio in Pakistan is 186 deaths per 100,000 live births. The ratio is nearly 26% higher in rural areas as compared to urban areas. In order to avoid complications, it is imperative to provide mothers with skilled care and safety during pregnancy, and here the main reason isthe child marriage. 

 STOP THE CRIME 

Empower the girls with information, skills and support networks.

Awareness should be given to everyone through media. 

Educate your children that will be very helpful for them to make sure decisions for their lives. 

Awareness should also be given to parents who are responsible for the crime.

Encourage supportive laws and policies. 

Encourage them to be independent first and then search for a partner only after attaining a specific age. 

Effective strategy should be planned for the eradication of poverty because this isthe enough reason for the poor parents to marry their children in Childhood 

One of the most common causes of child or early marriage is the tradition which has been in practice for a long time. In many areas, ever since a girl is born, they consider her to be someone else’s property.

Empower your girls by education not by marriage.
